Gusher, by Chicago’s Steve Karas, is a story about love and oil spills, while Silver Quarters, from UBC’s Bryce Warnes, is a story about love and blood spills. Okay, we might be oversimplifying, but the point it is that love is in the air. And hurt can’t be far behind.
